No POSTS Pete Tong
I haven’t been able to get my tumblr on at all today, or even yesterday. My aunt came to me on Saturday night and treated me to a kiwi gelato and offered me a little side money to type up a survey she had in hard copy.
Now I am a quick typer, I may not use the potential of all 8 fingers (with additional two thumbs) but I get the job done with my claw like type stylings. She handed me a folder 100 papers thick of emails and spreadsheets and responses from all ends of an insurance company and told me casually it would just be a few hours of work. I cracked the first portion last night at 7:30 and when 11:00 rolled around and I wasn’t even half way through it I realized I was screwed.
I had to take today off work (being that my Aunt had a deadline of tonight) with my only wellness day I had banked which I was saving for a weekend getaway with Brent to go up to Lillooet, B.C this summer. My work claims the summer is black out time and I am unable to get any time off. I spent my only free day typing, hours upon hours of a RECOGNITION SURVEY ——- for an INSURANCE COMPANY.
My brain is numb. I even had to turn off the internet and music to try and pummel through it. I got at it this morning at ten and I finally finished just now. EPIC FAIL, today was so gorgeous and I could have been at Picadilly beach with KatSanto.
I don’t know, truth be told I got some majorly BAD news about my job on Friday which I have been bummed out about since, and spending a day and a light year typing people’s miserable comments about never getting a pat on the back has left me feeling empty and sort of depressed. I am going to watch some BIG LOVE and post LOADS AND LOADS of stuff tomorrow.
For now I am going to check out the new track @ MUSIC YOU SHOULD BE LISTENING TO and if you’re not not already following, just get on it. He is my new tumblr love.
